My Mom’s recipe
Ingredients
- ¾ c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- ¼ c. molasses
- 2 c. flour
- ¼ t. salt
- 2 t. soda
- 1 t. cinnamon
- ½ t. cloves (ground)
- ½ t. ground ginger
Steps
Mix all ingredients. Roll into balls. Roll in white sugar. Flatten balls with fork. Bake at 375℉ for 10 to 15 minutes.
