Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ c. sugar
  • ¾ c. evaporated milk
  • ⅓ c. light corn syrup
  • 2 T. butter
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • nuts (optional)

Steps

Bring to boil first four ingredients. Cook over moderate heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add chocolate chips and vanilla. Add nuts if desired. Pour in 8x8 greased pan and chill.
